HHCI Awarded $2.4M Palomar Community College CDC & Baseball Field Project
Riverside, CA – March 3, 2014 – Swinerton Constructors awarded Hal Hays Construction, Inc. (HHCI) a $2.4M contract for Palomar Community College’s child development center & baseball field. The project will consist of mass earthwork. The scope will include: SWPPP and BMP implementation; blasting; mass excavation; traffic control; backfill material; crushing and processing of rock; and site erosion control. The project will encompass 5 acres of earthwork for the child development center and 8 acres of earthwork for the Baseball Field.
Palomar College’s Child Development Center provides care and rearing services for the children of students, faculty & staff, and the community. Palomar College’s baseball field is the home of Palomar College’s intercollegiate baseball team, the Comets.
