Congressman Visit to HHCI!
Riverside, CA – January 29, 2014 – On Tuesday, January 21, 2014, Congressman Mark Takano (D-Riverside) visited HHCI headquarters as part of his “100 Businesses in 100 Days” Tour.
As a business leader and large employer, HHCI was selected to contribute to Rep. Takano’s semi-annual economic report and to provide input on business and job growth legislation. Congressman Takano met with HHCI Founder, Hal Hays, HHCI President and CEO, Kirby Hays, and HHCI VP of Marketing & Corporate Development, Elizabeth Cabral.
During his visit, HHCI shared with Rep. Takano the organization’s experience as a growing business, their work in VA Hospitals, and how federal programs helped grow HHCI.
Born and raised in Riverside, Rep. Takano serves on 2 House committees (Veterans’ Affairs and Science, Space & Technology). To honor his service to the country, Kirby presented Rep. Takano with an HHCI coin. Good luck to the freshman Congressman as he begins 2014!
