San Dieguito Intake Maintenance

The volume of sand HHCI removed from the inlet channel was approximately 19,000 cubic yards. The objective of this project was to excavate the sand per the cross-sections. The excavated sand was then placed on the beaches north and south of the inlet, with the majority of the sand being placed to the south. The project areas where excavation was carried out were located east of Highway 101 Bridge.
