Hal Hays Construction, Inc. Awarded USACE Vertical MATOC in Support of Design-Build Projects within the South Pacific Division 

Riverside, California-December 23, 2009-Hal Hays Construction, Inc. (HHCI) earned selection by the US Army Corps of Engineers, Los Angeles District, for a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) in support of vertical design-build projects primarily in the Los Angeles District and in support if design-build projects within the South Pacific Division of USACE.

In addition to being awarded a contract, HHCI was awarded the first task order under the program for the Bay Model Building Improvements project.  The project will consist of the design-build improvements of the Bay Model (BM) roof equipment inventory, demolition, asbestos abatement, lead abatement, disposal of existing roof coverings, design and construction of a new BM roof covering system, evaluation of the existing roof drainage systems, and the design and construction of roof drainage system improvements.

The contract was a set aside procurement among 8(a) Small Business firms.
