Hal Hays Construction, Inc. Receives 2009 Gold Level STEP Safety Award

Riverside, California-October 1, 2009-Hal Hays Construction, Inc. (HHCI) received the Gold Level Safety Training and Evaluation Program Certificate (STEP) Award for outstanding safety performance and safety program from Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC)

Additionally, HHCI achieved the Gold Level status by:

  • Having a total recordable incident rate at least 25 percent below the industry average.
  • Submitting our official U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration form on work-related injuries and illnesses for review, and
  • Receiving a stellar declaration from our insurance company that supports the company's STEP self-evaluation score.
